The fee for the weekend is $15.00. Bring a sack dinner.
ReplyDeleteWe will be sprucing up the ol' church, checking out the rich history, and maybe sending a scout down the Hiller Tunnel. Vittles are foil wrapped dinner and breakfast burritos in the morn. YUM YUM!
ReplyDeleteSounds Good Michael! Can't wait. Do they go down the tunnel head first or feet first?
ReplyDeleteSounds great! Gorgeous scenery, a historic mine, a tunnel and hiking trails. Add to that good food. What more could a Scout want?
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite places, it's like stepping back in time.
ReplyDeleteToo bad the State of California is closing facilities. Malakoff Diggins will put a lock on the gates in the near future. This may be the last chance to see the park for a while while the state recovers.
