Angel Island Trip: October 13-14, 2012
Our October camp out will take the troop to Angel Island in San Francisco Bay. Scouts have the option of riding their bikes or hiking to the service camp. Angel Island is rich in history, considered the Ellis Island of the West Coast, this one time military fort and immigration station is not a state park. We will trailer our bikes and backpacks to the town of Tiburon and ride a ferry to the island. We will perform a service project and hike the island. There are spectacular views of San Francisco and the bay area cities. The cost for the trip is $20.00 which include the ferry ride to the island and food. Permission slips are available on the troop website on the download page.
