Planning for the British Columbia Road Trip
In 2014 Troop 380 will travel to Bowron Lakes Provincial Park in British Columbia. The Bowron Lakes are located in the Canadian Rockies and provide an approximately 75 mile circuit of lakes and portages. We will visit Seattle, Vancouver, and much more on our trip to this beautiful park.
Camp Cards on the Way
Troop 380 will be participating in the Camp Cards fund raising program. Scouts can earn 50% on each card sold. The cards sell for $5.00 and provide discounts at a number of local businesses. The cards should be available at the April 15th meeting. Please see Michelle Tyler for more information.

Skills Camp Out and Spring Court of Honor
Our March activity will take us to Camp Nauvoo, the Golden Empire Council's newest property, near Placerville. This camp will serve as the new training center and Cub Scout resident camp for our council in the near future. We will host our Skills Camp Out on the weekend of March 22-24, 2013. We have a few new Scouts joining the troop and we will teach them the skills to be a successful Scout. Neil Ishikawa will head up the skills camp out. On Sunday, March 24th we are inviting the parents to attend the Spring Court of Honor at Camp Nauvoo before we return home. The Scouts will prepare lunch at 1:30 PM and will follow with our Spring Awards. Awards and Recognition include University of Scouting, Den Chief Training, Klondike Derby, and Bowling Night, plus leadership, rank and merit badges. This will be a great opportunity to visit the camp and have lunch with the scouts. The troop will be picking up the cost of the lunch, but you must sign up. We will arrange for car pools. The camp is less than 45 minutes from our meeting place.
